During episode 86 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one participant asked if a reconsideration request should be taken if you receive a notification from the Search Console to take manual action.
The exact question was:
If you get a manual action and it says were not going to derank your whole site just the suspicious backlinks would you attempt a reconsideration request or carry on but be more careful? Even though google said that in webmaster tools ive noticed the main url doesnt show up for the terms no more its the city name plus keyword pages that rank now?
