In episode 189 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one participant asked how to silo structure a national directory site that targets states, then cities within the states.
The exact question was:
Hey everyone, question: When building out a national directory site, and targeting states then cities within the states, should the URL structure be:
www.acrepair.com/florida for state and www.acrepair.com/florida/miami for city within state
or
www.acrepair.com/florida/ and then when you click on the city like “”Miami”” for example it changes to:
www.acrepair.com/miami
Please let me know if it makes a difference and which one will help rank better, thanks
