In episode 253 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one viewer asked if YouTube is a good backlink source for GMB since it's authoritative and is owned by Google.
The exact question was:
Anyway, since YouTube is a Google property with lots of “”authority power””, I'm guessing that it would be a good idea to include it as a backlink source to help a GMB listing rank in the 3-Pack. Is that correct?, . .. and, if so, other than uploading a few niche-related videos to a niche optimized YT channel and including the GMB url in their descriptions, what else, if anything, can you do to use YouTube to help rank a GMB listing?
