One of the particpants of the Episode 53 of Semantic Mastery’s Hump Day Hangout asked about dealing with clients when you want to request additional budget for an existing SEO campaign.
The exact question asked was:
Most of the services I use to rank my clients’ websites are subscription based. So that means that I need to keep paying them every month to maintain my rankings.
However, I’ve noticed that when I start working on a new client’s site, the first 4 to 6 months rankings skyrocket but then reach a plateau.
My problem is that I don’t have any more budget to create more links so I now need to tell my clients that if they want to rank even higher, they need to invest more money.
What would the solution be to avoid that kind of situation?
Should I stop renting links completely to reallocate that budget to create new FCS networker /GSA links each month??
