Is It Aggressive To Add Link On Citation Pages?

During episode 76 of Semantic Mastery’s weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one participant asked if it’s too aggressive to add more links in a citation page.

The exact question was:

In a post that we add to our main blog website, is it ok to add a few links out to our citations? When the post is syndicated to the IFTTT properties this would add a dozen links from our properties out to our citations. Is this a good thing to do or is it too aggressive?

I am wondering if it is safe to add links to all the IFTTT network properties in the sidebar of blogs like weebly? Thank you.
