What Are Your Favorite SEO Task Management Tools For Outsourcers?

During episode 83 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one viewer asked about the best tool when it comes to managing SEO tasks for outsourcers.

The exact question was:

“Afternoon gentlemen! Thank you for all your hard work in these hangouts.

What do you guys use for SEO task management – any favorite apps or workflow for outsourcers and the like??”

This is a great question that we get asked a lot in various ways.

People are usually looking for ways to speed up their own processes, get VA’s hired, onboarded, and trained, and much more.

Task Management Definition

This is important.

Are you looking for SEO tasks and software – things like checking domain metrics and the like? If so, then you need access to several tools from many providers.

However, if you’re looking to work on the process of doing these individual tasks, then it becomes more of a work process and task management problem which the greater business world has been working on for a long time!

And that is good news for you.

There are a ton of great apps and tools out there that will help you take control of your workflow and your employees. It’s up to you to check them and out find out which works best for you – there’s lots of options and you’ll have different requirements than the next person.

However, we can give you a good idea of a few to start with that we have personally used and found to be helpful.

Workflow And Task Apps

Here is a short list to get you started – we’ve used these and either still use them or have students that use them in their businesses.

Again, your results may vary, the best way to find the best one for your needs is to roll up your sleeves and try them out.

  • Flow – recommended by Bradley in the video, it’s a full fledged team management and task software that has a lot of power.
  • Trello – free and paid versions that can get you started and allow you to manage access to outsourcers and others while working in a “card” based environment.
  • Evernote – More of a storage area for most people, this can be utilized in a team based setting.
  • Combinations – combining things like Slack, Zapier, and Google Spreadsheets can be powerful. This may be needed if you have some custom needs or don’t like the layout of some of the other apps.
